I have taken and saved more pictures that mean so much to me over the past 30 years than I will ever be able to share. Because of technology, I have only really been able to video record my experiences for about ten years or so. Before that, it was all just photographs.

Is it worth the trouble carrying one of these on a miles long foot journey through the backcountry? It depends. Sometimes it is worth the trouble, sometimes it ain’t. In my opinion so much of a question like this depends on what other luxuries you’re taking. Taking this lantern usually means foregoing some other luxury.
