Who wants to market a backpacking table version of this design for backpackers and make a kazillion dollars with me. Could slip right down into a side pocket of any backpack. There is currently nothing - and I mean nothing - on the market that is as simple and logical as this.
Plan your day around water, not miles. Fill up at every good source, filter it or treat it if you want the extra insurance, and never pass up clear moving water because you think there'll be more ahead.
