It had been raining for three days straight. It took me over two hours of careful, relentless work in a direct downpour to get this all-night fire established. Once it was going and I knew it could outlast all the rain Mother Nature had to throw at it, I took this picture. The effect is from the light of the fire reflecting off the air that is literally saturated with water droplets.
What is your theory? I don't have a dog in the hunt about this, but I was just wondering with 30 or more Bigfoot sightings every year how come no one ever bags one? That is the one thing that makes me doubt. I read the sightings which are full of tales of people fleeing in terror, but almost no one ever opens fire. What do you guys think?
